We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth.

… The original it seems is much more vivid: the Vulgate has for “filthy cloth” quasi pannus menstruatae, which Coverdale renders “the clothes stayned with the floures of a woman”; Douay Rheims, “as the rag of a menstruous woman.” I owe the discovery to Stephen Maturin.
